Dawa Sigrist , Founder

Dawa Sigrist was born in Tibet and came to Switzerland as a refugee, where he grew up deeply rooted in Swiss culture. Trained as an electrical engineer and business economist, he initially embarked on a career in the banking industry. Early on, his deep connection to his new homeland was shaped by his obligatory military service, which took him to some of Switzerland's most remote corners. During this time, he internalized the core values of Swissness – precision, reliability, and a profound respect for nature – all of which became central pillars of his identity.

In 1993, his quest to reconnect with his Tibetan heritage led him on a three-year journey through Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, and the Indian Himalayan regions. These formative experiences ultimately inspired him to found the Himalayan travel specialist Tibet Culture & Trekking Tour, known as TCTT. Over the years, TCTT evolved into a globally recognized luxury travel company.

Today, Dawa Sigrist’s travel experience spans the globe – from Bhutan to Bora Bora, from Japan to South Africa, from Tibet to Morocco, and far beyond. Whether trekking in the Himalayas, stargazing in Mongolia, cruising through the South Seas, paddling along the Mississippi, experiencing vibrant nights in New York, relaxing in a private pool villa in Mauritius, or riding a Harley toward Key West, Dawa Sigrist finds wonder in every form of travel.

Yet, his enduring vision has always been to share the beauty of Switzerland with the world. After more than 25 years in the international luxury travel industry, he fulfilled his great dream by founding Perfect Switzerland.
